This ancient and prestigeous vine was brought to the province of Avellino dai Pelagi, from Thessaly in Greece, in the first century BC.
VINEYARD AND LAND: Tufo and Petruro Irpino estates are found on a predominantly clayey-calcareous soil with south-east exposure and an average altitude of 450 m.
PERIOD AND HARVEST SYSTEM: Second decade of October, manual harvest.
VINIFICATION AND AGING: Classic white vinification in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Bottle aging at least one month.
Organoleptic characteristics: Straw yellow color. On the nose Intense and complex fruity aromas of citrus fruits, peach, pineapple, apricot and lime. Fresh, very mineral, structured in the mouth
elegant.
Food matches: fish and shellfish. Risottos and fish-based dishes. White meats, crustaceans, everdure fish fries.
