Terredora Dipaolo Taurasi D.O.C.G. red wine

Taurasi D.O.C.G. by Terredora Dipaolo is a red wine of great elegance and longevity, obtained from 100% Aglianico grapes grown in the company vineyards located between the municipalities of Lapio and Montemiletto. The harvest takes place between the end of October and the beginning of November, with a careful selection of the grapes. After destemming, a maceration of about 14 days follows, during which continuous pumping over is carried out to enhance the extraction of the aromatic and polyphenolic components. Fermentation ends in steel tanks, after which the wine is aged for at least 18 months in small French oak barrels, followed by further refinement in the bottle for a period of between 24 and 36 months. At sight, the wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases a complex bouquet, with fruity and spicy notes that evolve into tertiary aromas of licorice, vanilla, balsamic and cloves. On the palate, it is structured and soft, with a notable persistence that makes it suitable for long storage. This Taurasi is the ideal companion for rich dishes such as ragù, red meats, mature cheeses and game. To best enhance its qualities, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 18-20°C.
