Vinicola del Sannio Taurasi D.O.C.G. VIGNOLÈ is a high-quality red wine, produced exclusively with 100% Aglianico grapes, grown in the historic DOCG vineyards located in the municipalities of Castelfranci, Lapio and Montemiletto, in the province of Avellino. This selection of grapes is harvested at the peak of ripeness to ensure a minimum alcohol content of 13.5% vol., as required by the production regulations. The winemaking follows the ancient agricultural traditions of Irpinia: after destemming, the grapes are macerated with the skins for 10-12 days. The resulting wine is then aged in small oak barrels for 18 months, followed by further refining in large oak barrels for 12 months, and finally in the bottle for another 10 months. Taurasi D.O.C.G. VIGNOLÈ has an intense ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of berries, black cherry, and spicy and mineral hints. On the palate, it is elegant, soft, velvety and of notable structure, with an intensity that promises longevity. Perfect to accompany tasty first courses, red meats, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at the ideal temperature of 18°C to enhance its organoleptic characteristics.
