Much smaller variant of the classic Ditali Rigati, the Ditalini Rigati are part of the minute pasta family and originate from Campania.

Inspired in shape by the sewing accessory of the same name, but offered in miniature and open at the top, the Ditalini Rigati are especially used for the preparation of light and tasty broth soups, enriched with croutons of bread or vegetables cut into thin strips.

They can also be combined with tied soups such as creams and velvets.
