The Antica Distilleria Petrone and Giugiaro Architettura come together to create an unprecedented union between traditional liqueur and Italian style.

The goal of the collaboration was to create a box that contains one of the specialties of Petrone distillates combined with a design object by Giugiaro Architettura.

The studio has given life to a style research that takes its cue from the tradition of Campania and from the dynamism and innovation of the automotive industry. The tasting glass designed exclusively by the designer is an extraordinary union between modernity, sensations and territory.

The packaging, which contains the exclusive Petrone distillates and the two tasting glasses, is characterized by a background texture that represents a lava flow turned into stone. The lava stone, symbol of the fertile land of Campania, becomes the identity of Petrone products, representing the essential bond with the territory.

Tasting notes

limoncello
Intense yellow colour. On the nose lively hints of lemon peel and herbaceous tones. Sweet, fresh and markedly aromatic on the palate with an exuberant closure determined by the enveloping alcoholic note which becomes even more evident when the limoncello is served cold.

Guappa
Hazelnut in color and dense in appearance. On the nose sweet aromas of cream, hazelnut and caramel and a pungent scent of buffalo milk. With an enveloping and soft taste, creamy and velvety and with a perfect integration of the alcoholic note of the 3-year-old brandy, expertly combined with milk.

Love
Dark amber color with golden reflections. Austere, vertical, severe but balanced on the nose thanks to the addition of cane sugar. Soft, flowing taste with wild and perceptibly citrus scents and a slightly bitter finish.

Our recommendations

limoncello
Excellent digestif at the end of a meal, perfect smooth or with ice; it should be served preferably frozen. Its freshness and its perfumes give the bartender and the mixologist incredible combination possibilities. Excellent if mixed with Eulizia liqueur, lemon juice and ginger beer, for a cocktail to be savored slowly, down to the last aromatic note.

Guappa
Excellent after-dinner dessert, perfect neat or with ice, it will accompany after dinner with taste and pleasure. Excellent to sweeten coffee or to garnish ice creams and puddings, it reveals a pleasant aftertaste, sweet and delicately alcoholic. Invigorating if served hot with cinnamon, cloves and an orange zest. It goes perfectly with combinations based on brandy and milk cream, for velvety cocktails; garnished with a dusting of dark chocolate and cinnamon.

Love
Excellent digestif at the end of a meal, perfect smooth or with ice, it should preferably be served iced with a lemon or orange zest. AmaRè lends itself to various possibilities, its nature of officinal amaro gives the bartender and the mixologist various interpretations of the product. Excellent diluted with tonic water during the summer, exceptional as a cocktail accompanied by a Gin.
