Neapolitan, the PASTIERA. CHIRICO cooked wheat, thanks to the gelled starch, allows you to mix all the ingredients perfectly, avoiding adding a lot of butter and eggs to the dough.
Ingredients: Powdered preparation for shortcrust pastry (soft wheat flour "00", sugar,
wheat starch, soy flour, whey powder, stabilizer: gum
xanthan; raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate; flavourings,
coloring: annatto), "Chirico" cooked wheat (wheat, water, salt, corrector
acidity: citric acid), candied orange (orange peels, glucosefructose syrup,
sucrose), ground cinnamon, orange blossom flavouring, vanillin.
The box set contains:
300 g Shortcrust pastry mix
220 g CHIRICO Cooked Wheat
20 g Candied Orange
2 g ground cinnamon
2 g Orange Blossom flavour
0.5 g Vanillin
Ingredients to add 250 g of Ricotta Romana
4 eggs
100 g of Butter
METHOD:
1. Mix the pastry mixture with 1 egg and 80g of butter. Place the dough in the fridge
2. Mix the wheat, ricotta, sugar, 2 whole eggs, 1 egg yolk and flavorings in a bowl
3.Roll out the dough, leaving 1/3 aside for the stripes
4. Line the previously buttered baking tray
5. Pour the mixture into the lined baking tray and place seven strips
6. Bake at 180°C for 60 minutes
7. Leave the cake to cool
