Naturalis Historia is a wine made from grapes from a 40-year-old vineyard of our Mirabella Eclano estate. Of great structure and longevity, it represents Irpinia, an ancient and dark territory that Virgil defined: "Earth jealous of its many mysteries".
VINEYARD AND LAND: The Mirabella Eclano estate with a South-East exposure is characterized by a deep soil, with
Franco-sandy texture, of volcanic origin, with clay in depth and presence of traces of limestone along the entire profile. The altitude is 400 m s.l.m.
PERIOD AND HARVEST SYSTEM: End of October, manual harvest.
VINIFICATION AND AGING: Classic red vinification, long maceration with the skins at a controlled temperature. Aging in French oak barrels for a period of 24 months. In bottle for 30 months.
Organoleptic characteristics: Intense ruby red color. On the nose, Complex, ample, intense and persistent bouquet, offers aromas reminiscent of violets, currants, wild blackberries, strawberries, cherries
