The yellow Lucariello tomato is a natural graft between the varieties of tomatoes of the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino and the tomato variety of the piennolo of the Vesuvio. It is cultivated in the Agro-Sarnese Nocerino.
Yellow like the sun, it has a thick skin and a particularly firm flesh. Also called "traditional food product" by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; the Ministry, together with the Regions, have activated the necessary tools to safeguard these products as an expression of the traditions and culture of our land.
