The Villa dei Misteri project was born in 1996 when the Archaeological Superintendence of Pompeii gave the Mastroberardino Company the task of restoring viticulture in the ancient city of Pompeii.
Archaeological investigations, botanical studies and surveys of root casts, vines and related supporting posts (which the great eruption of 79 AD has "immortalized" forever) have confirmed the viticultural culture also within the walls of the city, in the gardens and vegetable gardens that adorned the houses.

Grapes: 90% Piedirosso, 10% Sciascinoso
